Russell Cheney is the founder and Managing Director of SECAP, the Australian market leader in intelligent data centre technologies that enable customers to drive efficiency whilst minimising downtime across their critical business and and IT infrastructure.

Prior to devoting his efforts fulltime to SECAP, Russell served as a senior sales and solutions executive for major global organisations building their Australian efforts into successful operations which include Liebert, Ozcom, Galaxy Broadcasting, with customers comprising of Department Of Defence, Optus, Telstra, Diagio.

Russell has consulted on most major data centre projects that have occered in Australia over the past 30 years and has also assisted other Australian talent in launching their own operations, helping them to become successful in their own right.

In addition to driving innovation in the data centre arena, Russell is a long time Australian Tennis identity, actively involved in the creation, coordination and community participation of tennis clubs and events. 

As a customer results focused professional, Trent has over 10 years experience in strategic solution design, digital transformation, complex marketing strategy, and client relationship management within Government, Telecommunications, Finance, Higher Education, and channel focused environments.

Trents experience to-date has driven him towards a close alignment with technology to assist business achieve their own strategic outcomes. He has a strong interest in the study of consumer behaviour, determined to understand the factors that directly influences business decisions. His passion is to leverage this insight to provide outstanding and remarkable results.

On the Weekends, Trent is an avid Classic Car enthusiast and a self proclaimed expert in full bodied red wines.
